about

“Lissajous” branches out of cuatroveinte a Mexican concert promoter and artists management agency that has as it main goal to put the new most interesting music from the rising electronic artists of the country. The result was a series of events during 2013 & 2014 with the likes of Goth Trad, Youngsta, Truth, Author, and Mexican talent like Nesstrak, Siete Catorce, No light, Wet n’ Groove. After we released our first compilation we came to the conclusion that just 8 or 10 tracks are not enough to cover the huge amount of quality producers that the Mexican scene has to offer, and with this in mind we developed Lissajous from compilation to a full fledged label to help take this music and make it available to the world.

As an independent label Lissajous will focus in any type or genre of electronic music as long as it is putting something exciting and new into the table. Lissajous was formed like a family with different taste in music but sharing the same taste for dark and heavy tunes. This is why we choose to build our sound around this. The music can go from Techno to Dubstep and Jungle passing thru any regional music or subgenre that are flooding the underground electronic music these days. The visual aesthetics will go side by side with the music maintaining this dark vibe.

Mexico’s Underground Bass scene unites in this multifaceted compilation, bringing darker and industrial landscapes of a region 4 Club Music to the complex hybrid sounds of traditional Mexican music and Global Bass. Trap beats and tropical House sharing a spot with experimental Footwork, that might caught some people out of guard but the intention to unite under one city and one scene demonstrating the quality of the mexican sound. The artists in this compilation have been working with us since the beginning or have joined the crew throughout the year and will have proper releases in the label.

“Lissajous Dos” the label first release will launch in june 20th, 2016 and we are happy to announce that it will be a totally free (the first month) download thru our website and social media to commemorate the birth of this new project.
